WELCOME TO MUNSTER COMHALTAS

A large gathering of County & Branch delegates attended the 2026 Comhairle na Mumhan CCÉ Convention held recently in the Hibernian Hotel, Mallow on Sunday, Feb 22nd. We were delighted to be joined by Comhaltas Ard-Runaí Tomás Ó Maoldomhnaigh who was our special guest speaker on the day. Comhairle na Mumhan CCÉ Officers elected for the coming year were as follows: • Cathaoirleach (Chairman): Tadhg Ó Maolcatha (Limerick) • Leas Cathaoirleach (Vice-Chairperson): Mary O’Halloran

Well done to all who participated in the Munster Ceol an Gheimhridh finals held recently in Brú Ború  Cashel. It was a most enjoyable day of competitions in music, singing and storytelling. Well done to all who performed in the Munster Finals of Ceol an Gheimhridh 2025/26 which took place on Sunday, Feb 15th in Brú Ború Cultural Centre. A huge thank you to all the staff of Brú Boru for the great welcome extended to all. Many thanks also to all the competitors, parents, teachers, adjudicators, stewards and officials who all helped to make it such a successful day of competitions.
