Comhairle na Mumhan CCÉ are delighted to announce that Newcastle West, Co. Limerick will host the 2022 Munster Fleadh from July 13-16 2022. Newcastle West was originally selected as host town for the 2020 Munster Fleadh, before Covid-19 forced the cancellation of all Fleadhanna in 2020 and 2021.
Limerick County Board of Comhaltas have once again taken on the task of organising the Fleadh and the officers of the Fleadh Executive Committee have now been elected and are ready to begin work on compiling the Fleadh Programme and events. We are looking forward to a busy year of Fleadhanna and Comhaltas activities through the province.
The following are the confirmed dates for Fleadh na Mumhan 2022 competitions, as decided at a meeting of Comhairle na Mumhan CCÉ held last night:
All Dancing Competitions: Wednesday 13th July & Thursday 14th July, at Longcourt House Hotel, Newcastle West
All other competitions: Friday 15th and Saturday 16th July, 2022 at various venues in Newcastle West
No competitions will be held on Sunday 17th July due to clash of date with scheduled All Ireland Senior Hurling Final.
