Comhairle na Mumhan CCÉ are delighted to announce that Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2024 will take place in Thurles, Co. Tipperary from July 15-21 2024 where it will be hosted by Tipperary County Board CCÉ. The town of Thurles is steeped in traditional music and previously hosted the Munster Fleadh in 1979 and 1968 along with hosting Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann on a number of occasions. An exciting programme of events including concerts, gig-rig and street entertainment in Thurles will also take place alongside the Fleadh competitions

 

As Sunday, July 21st is clashing with the All-Ireland Hurling Final, competitions days will need to be changed as in Fleadh na Mumhan 2022 in Newcastle West to Wednesday-Saturday

 

All dancing competitions will be on Wednesday, July 17th and Thursday, July 18th

All music, singing, comhrá and storytelling competitions will be on Friday, July 19th and Saturday, July 20th

Note: there will be no competitions on Sunday, July 21st
